The Denver Turnverein wants to thank you for your 2008 Membership and is looking forward to your Membership Renewal for the upcoming year of 2009. We also enthusiastically welcome new members!

The Denver Turnverein (DTV) is a non-profit corporation whose primary purpose is to provide affordable space to its member clubs.

The DTV recognizes that its health is directly dependent upon the strength and activities of the member clubs. As a non-profit corporation, the DTV also recognizes and supports the efforts of other non-profit organizations.

Dues

The Board of Directors chose to slightly increase the membership rates for the Year 2009. 2009 rates were pro-rated July 1st and are listed below and on the application form.
All memberships expire December 31st, no matter when you join during the year.
If you are a renewing member, we strongly encourage you to renew on-line. With almost 1550 Turnverein members in 2008, this is a huge amount of data entry. On-line renewal enables you to update your data yourself and will save a lot of work for the Turnverein, which is a volunteer organization. On-line renewal also enters you in the membership database instantly rather than waiting for manual data entry to be done later.
You do not have to pay more than one membership if you belong to multiple clubs, but we ask that you only select clubs you actively participate in, not clubs you just have an interest in for now. (You can always be added to additional clubs later, upon request.) However, if you join RMSDC, they ask that you join directly through their member club, due to voting rights issues and their non-profit status. Volunteer Participation

We continue to request your involvement in a variety of volunteer activities; these are listed on your 2009 membership form. Although your participation is not mandatory, it is very much appreciated!

Communication

The DTV continues its efforts to increase the level of communication and to contain postage costs. On your renewal form, please check whichever of the choices fits you needs in receiving DTV correspondence.

Thank you for continuing your contributions to The Denver Turnverein. With your 2009 Membership, your contributions for Turnverein restoration and the donation of your time and energy, we can continue to build on the tradition of excellence that we have all come to enjoy.

Dues were slightly increased for 2009. Pro-rated dues as of July 1, 2009 are:

The Single/Individual Membership is $29.
The Senior Membership for those 65 years or more in age is $20.
The Student Membership (full time with photo ID) is $20.
The Dual Membership is for two people living at the same address and is $54.
The Family Membership includes two adults and one or more children for $66.

All memberships expire on December 31 and are granted a grace period in January to renew and still pay member fees at events. (You may renew after January, but will have to pay the non-member rate between February 1st and the date you renew.) Member groups may have additional requirements and privileges.
