Turnverein Dance And Cultural Center
WHO WE ARE
The Turnverein Dance and Cultural Center, Inc. hosts community dances, competitions and workshops for Swing (Lindy and West Coast), Argentine Tango, Salsa, ballroom and more. The Center is also home to an internationally recognized chorus.
The Space: The organization is located in the historic Turnverein building, located at 1570 Clarkson Street in Denver. The highlight of the building is the charming yet functional 5000 square foot ballroom. The center has over 1550 (2009) members who use the facility each week for community dances, educational activities and special events.
The Center also hosts two annual juried art shows that are open to members and the community. Shows in 2010 will run from April 3– May 15th and from October 9 through Nov. 27.
